December 25th 2011

Please, may I have a Christmas treat?

Perhaps you didn't see me on the floor.  Now may I have a treat?

Delicious.  Poor big dog seems clueless about how to charm your way to a treat.

My First Fascinator!

Made with French tulle, this is a fairly tame fascinator hat. I really had no idea what I was doing when I made this, but tonight I'm  taking a class at Nancy's Sewing Basket on Queen Anne.  Stay tuned!

I completed my class in "How to Make a Fascinator," tonight.  Here's the result.  I learned a lot!  Not the least of which is how to make the "cap," that you attach all the embellishments to including the netting, etc. This one still isn't completely done, but almost.  My thanks to the toad for modeling.
