My First Fascinator!

Made with French tulle, this is a fairly tame fascinator hat. I really had no idea what I was doing when I made this, but tonight I'm  taking a class at Nancy's Sewing Basket on Queen Anne.  Stay tuned!

I completed my class in "How to Make a Fascinator," tonight.  Here's the result.  I learned a lot!  Not the least of which is how to make the "cap," that you attach all the embellishments to including the netting, etc. This one still isn't completely done, but almost.  My thanks to the toad for modeling.

Our niece, Aimee and husband Bryan had a perfect baby boy, Wyatt James, born November 28th! Of course, Lucy has to be part of the picture.
